Traditional Uses:
Mainly used for respiratory problems such as bronchitis and chronic coughs. May be used for gastritis and ulcers. For the treatment of urinary infections including cystitis. It is a valuable source of nutrition for patients in long term convalescence and rest. Can be used to increase the metabolic rate and to strengthen connective tissue such as hair, skin, and nails.
Directions to use:
Infusion: Pour 1 cup of boiling water onto 1 - 1½ teaspoons of dried herb. Stand for 10min. Strain and drink three times per day.
